What is The Hiraya Foundation?
A non-profit organization that focuses on providing support for regions of the Philippines that directly contribute to creating Filipino artisan wares for En Gold. Serving as an avenue for the En Gold brand to further their support to the surrounding regions and families of their makers.
Through their initiatives some of The Hiraya Foundation's mission includes providing schools with reading materials and resources, barangays with clean drinking water and sanitary services, workers with life insurance and health care support.
Who is the Hiraya Foundation?
Created by En Gold Founder and Director, Steffanie Ball, alongside her Husband Matt Ball. En Gold has been a purveyor in promoting and celebrating Filipino craft to a global audience by showcasing traditional craftsmanship in a contemporary light for the modern home. Coming from a Filipino heritage, Steffanie has a deep connection with the journey and story of the products En Gold offers, as well as the region they come from and the hands that craft them. With a true Bayanihan spirit The Hiraya Foundation was a natural progression for Steffanie to continue her support of the regions where En Gold pieces are crafted.
